The word Rinne ( 輪廻 ) is a term used in some schools of Buddhism to describe a state of perpetual rebirth. In this image the path laid before us may symbolize the path already taken or the path to take. Perhaps they are one in the same. This image was created in a Japanese garden so I felt it apropos to name it in Japanese.
Whenever I travel I always bring my dedicated infrared camera with me. Infrared is one of those niche areas of photography. It’s highly experimental and the results are somewhat unpredictable.
